Farmhouse Manciano

Located in a dominant position over the valley of the river Albegna, the town of Manciano includes numerous localities in its territory. These are settlements born during the Middle Ages and subsequently developed to become small towns. Two of these, Saturnia and Montemerano, have even more ancient origins than Manciano and have kept numerous testimonies of their past.
Both localities are surrounded by tall stone walls and feature Etruscan and Roman archaeological remains.
The territory of Manciano is particularly suitable for hiking or biking because it is crossed by many dirt roads. Along these routes you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Mediterranean nature, to appreciate its colors and aromas.
Not to be missed is also the historic center of the town where are the Church of St. Leonardo, dating back to the 15th century, and other monuments of great artistic and architectural value.
