Farmhouse Nature Park of Maremma

The Nature Park of Maremma is a large green area of regional interest that includes the entire coast between Talamone and the mouth of the Ombrone River. About 100 sq. km of incredible naturalistic value.
The park is crossed by numerous natural trails and dirt roads that allow you to explore the area autonomously. Bicycle tours, horseback riding, hiking and canoeing are the best activities to fully enjoy the park. The whole area is also very interesting for birdwatchers. During the season, many migratory species come here.
Instead wild boars, foxes, rabbits, hares and curls populate the park all year long and can also be spotted during a hike.
In the area around the park there are cultivated fields and farms that carry on the Maremma tradition of cattle and horses living in the wild.
