Farmhouse Talamone

Surrounded by nature, in a scenic location over the sea, the old town of Talamone is located just a few km north of Orbetello. The protagonist of the landscape of the town is the Fortress realized in the Middle Ages and surrounded by the walls of the XIII century. From its top you can enjoy a beautiful view over the sea and the countryside of Maremma.
Talamone is the ideal destination for swimming, snorkeling, diving in the crystal clear sea. The seabeds of the area are rich in fishes and plants that you can observe and photograph.
In the small tourists port of the town, heart of the summer nightlife, are docked lots of sail boat and yacht. The light wind and the currents of the area allow long trips along the coast.
The town is located at the border of the Natural Park of Maremma and it’s a great starting point for excursions by foot or by bike.
